Hello Readers,
I know it has been a while since we last posted here, but we’re still waiting on some of the photo shoot pictures. So, please be patient to see all of the bridal gown pictures.
In the mean time, we are also compiling photos to post on the custom creations page.
The one we have up is a custom graduation sash for my daughter's graduation from college. I stitched the letters to give the feel of twill and embroidery, and included a pointed edge on the shoulder top so that it would fit around the shoulders evenly and not move around. My daughter even picked out the lettering, colors, fabric and design. It ended up looking beautiful, classy, and a uniquely different from everyone else’s sashes.
Some of my latest projects include:
- A Custom made wedding dress tailored to a designer’s photograph of the dress and additional custom changes that the customer desired. It took about 4 months to complete with about one fitting a month.
- I made a customer designed dress for a special performance event. It took about two full days to create.
- Altered two sets of men’s suits for a customer who wanted to wear his father’s suits. I altered them a size smaller, fixing the collar, lengthening the sleeves, lengthening the hem, and taking in the center seam.
- And recently started a very large project to alter a dress 3 sizes bigger. A long time customer brought in a dress made in Italy and absolutely loves the style and fabric. However, we don’t want to compromise the style and can’t find the fabric at any fabric store. There is absolutely no additional material from what we already have. So in order to do this we will add two zippers on sides of the dress and take out material from one part of the dress and add it to a different area that needs it more. We will update how the project is coming along as we proceed into it.
Until next time, look for more pictures, and look forward to a new logo to come soon.
