Rosalind started sewing since she was 10 years old. She started her professional tailoring career working for 5 years at the Tailoring Department at Nordstroms in Fashion Valley and UTC. She eventually opened up her own alterations shop in downtown La Jolla, CA in 1995 for a wider range of challenges and styles. She has been helping her customers alter their clothing to perfection ever since. She has been in San Diego for over 20 years and has had over 40 years of experience with a wide range of services including: Alterations, Custom Creations, Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaids dresses, Tuxedo Rentals and Purchases, and Dry Cleaning services, just to name a few. A perfectionist by nature, she treats each project as a priority.
Outside of alterations and her tailoring career, Rosalind enjoys playing and listening to music. Having studied piano and cello, she enjoys going to see the opera and symphony. Rosalind also enjoys singing and each Christmas, she participates in a local choral group. She also enjoys cooking authentic Chinese delicacies, traveling abroad, and trying different foods.
